The foundation of ELM’s business plan accurately reflects this state of affairs, and our online sport and wellness portal LIFESTYLEMD™.com has become a leading facilitator in this process.
With the development of LIFESTYLEMD™.com, ELM has endeavoured to optimise the capacity afforded by the Internet to deliver a range of lifestyle products and services to individuals and companies who prioritise healthy living.
LIFESTYLEMD™.com is now recognised as one of South Africa’s leading e-business portals and is the only South African end-to-end e-commerce sport and fitness portal representing major international brands such as Oakley, Polar and Dermalogica.
ENTRYTIME™.com, our events division, is the most recent product to be developed by ELM and is powered by LIFESTYLEMD™.com technology. ENTRYTIME™.com provides the latest event technology to both the event organiser and event entrant, ensuring participation sport remains affordable yet accessible to all. Many of South Africa’s leading sporting events have either completely outsourced their event management to ENTRYTIME™.com or have elected to use the ENTRYTIME™.com technology platform to power and promote their events. Clients include Cadbury Schweppes, Energade, Nestle, Mazda, the Ford Motor Company and many others. In time we aim to ensure that ENTRYTIME™.com is recognised as the definitive source of information for events in Southern Africa.
Following our mission to invest in lifestyle and technology related investments, ELM has recently added its corporate wellness division. South Africa’s premier IT company, Dimension Data Plc amongst others, has enlisted the services of ELM’s corporate wellness division to provide on-site services to its employees on the newly built Dimension Data Campus, situated in Bryanston, South Africa. Close to 5000 employees will have access to a wide range of health and wellness services including medical professionals, smart-card operated gymnasium, beauty therapy, stress management and team building challenges.
Worldwide more and more companies are beginning to realise the positive effect on workplace productivity of wellness related services and the promotion of healthy employee lifestyle.
